Bio
Varun was born and raised in the State of Kuwait. He survived the Gulf War in 1990 and returned to Kuwait in 1993. Following his schooling in the Indian Community School, Kuwait, he did his Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery at the prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.
Pursuing his penchant for diagnostic medicine, he enrolled at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi and graduated as a Doctor of Medicine in Radiodiagnosis in 2014.
Having trained in a tertiary care multispecialty hospital, his exposure has been immense from the early days. In the following years, he opted to work in peripheral towns and cities, providing primary imaging care to the masses.
He stays grounded in General Diagnostic Radiology, is a good communicator and prefers to ensure patient-centric care.
He enjoys teaching and uses digital technology to continue to share work experiences with the medical community to improve healthcare.
Currently, he is doing private practice in Kuwait and also offers teleradiology and second opinion consultations worldwide.
