Sunset timelapse

I’ve been owning DSLRs for over 7 years, but I never really did a time-lapse. It was mainly due to time constraints in this profession of mine.

Last couple of days in coastal Kuwait, it has been quite humid and as a result I had a misty sunset to savor yesterday evening. Thankfully, my daughter was also enjoying her late evening nap and I did get a window to mount my Nikon D7200 on a tripod. I capture multiple shutter speed shots of the broody sun before setting up interval shoot for half an hour, one capture every 15 sec, using f13, ISO 100 and 1/400 sec shutter speed. After the capture, I converted the RAW files into JPEG using Adobe Lightroom and then put them up in a folder.

Once inside Adobe Premiere pro, I imported the media clicking on the first image and keeping Image sequence ticked. Voila! I had my video ready instantaneously in my project folder.

Ole in crew is at it again

United fans have to put aside this love for the man who has played and helped in getting glory. A former player Frank Lampard, achieved far more than Ole did for this club. And yet, decisions were taken not on the merit of the pedigree of the individual but on performance at hand.

Men who are strong enough to take decisions, get success. Others do not. There is no point in being denial about the fact that Ole just is not good enough for United to get to silverware. There is no reason to even wait for another game to see that his tactics is what is stifling this team.

He is absolutely clueless on how to take a game by the scruff of its neck and win it. He has no presence of mind and never acknowledges the mistakes he makes day in and day out. There will be no tolerance from this fan base for his crappy tactics. If he does not perform, he will be told by the fans. He has no margin for error this season. Good luck to all you Ole in boys.

Ole Out

Second game of the season and Ole is already found out. He has a poor team selection, a tepid start to the game, create chances, but lack the quality in key moments to convert, players complacent. Mid field and backline seemed like they were instructed to play at a snail’s pace. Fred Matic axis is the worst ever, and it unraveled again today.

His substitutions are not even borderline ridiculous, just outright stupid. Taking out a striker to bring on a winger, then replacing a holding mid for another. How on earth will United challenge for anything with this looney in charge.

I stick to my pre season predictions. Top 4. That is all the United will get. Sack him and we might get a silverware this year.

Manchester United 5 – 1 Leeds United

I saw the starting lineup, and I was pissed! The same drab lineup of last year. Martial on the bench and Greenwood as a striker. Dan James on the right!

As I watched the first few moments, I realized only the season has changed, but some players are still the same. Dan James has no ability on the ball, is not clinical enough when in the box and does not have the physical build to cope.

The best example was him staying offside so early in the game! Greenwood is headless quite often with the ball, is unable to pick a pass most of the time, and clearly, these two are not worthy of being in the frontline of a title-winning team.

A Lingard, Rashford and a Martial would be the ideal replacements for these three.
Pogba and Bruno were clinical and world-class today. The desire shown by Pogba in the first ten minutes to set the momentum marauding the flank was unbelievable, to be honest.

Compare that to Martial coming in at 5-1 and jogging around. I feel Martial should just be given the first 50 odd minutes and subbed. Greenwood would be a top super sub. And the rest of the time, Cavani will do the job.
Sancho had a mellowed introduction – understandable.

Such has been Pogba and Bruno’s performance that the entire team’s work does not get the charm or glitter of it all. The team was fantastic. More than the scoreline, it is the performance that got me jumping and fist pumping yet again.

Contrast this to what Arsenal did yesterday (*giggles).
