Time is essence nowadays. Yesterday on the advice of our seniors, we decided to head to Panampilly Nagar to attend the monthly Cochin Radiology Club meet. It was pouring all through the evening and we reached half hour late, but fortunately did not miss much.
A group of 40-50 radiologists working at multiple setups all over Cochin had assembled to attend the event. But the standout speaker of the night was a senior Neurosurgeon from my hospital who spoke at large about the role of imaging in his field of expertise.
As I eagerly searched around for a familiar face, I was surprised to spot one Sir from our college (final year PG while I was interning at Manipal). Went up and spoke to him and feels great to have seen yet another person who draws you back to the good ol’ Pai Land.
The evening petered out with a fairly good buffet dinner and drinks to lighten up the mood. Was a good opportunity for us to socialize a bit more with our colleagues and at the same time take a break from radiology discussions. The month of May is over before even I realized and I just received a confirmation of the Hyderabad conference I will be attending next month. Hectic is being redefined. Jubilous June to all!
